When doctors at one of Los Angeles’ most prestigious hospitals gave Al seventy two hours to live after her bowel was nicked during a planned cesarean section they did not know that her experience would lead to an encounter with God that would cause a closer and more profound walk with Christ. That ‘death’ itself would be the catalyst to champion a new musical genre. The question is constantly asked, why Urban Country Gospel?
